Injury prevention in football is important.

Football fever peaks again as the 2022 FIFA World Cup begins!

It will be interesting to see how will the players body hold up with a middle of season warm climate tournament. Expect injury rates to rise.

Recent research revealed the most frequent injuries experienced by footballers (hamstring, groin, knee and ankle injuries) (1) Match injury incidence is almost 10x higher than training injuries! (2)

As many injuries in football demonstrate a high recurrence rate, proper treatment and rehabilitation is often vital. (2) Implementation of a suitable injury prevention program can also be beneficial in reducing injury rate.

Proper spinal alignment can also allow for better core stability, which is essential to the control of movements of the trunk and limbs.
